Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas praised the role of the Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in supporting the Palestinian people and their rights to freedom and independence.
President Abbas underlined the deep fraternal relations, which unite the two States and two brotherly peoples.
In the same context, the adviser to the Palestinian President for religious affairs and relations with Islamic countries, Mahmoud al-Habbash declared that Morocco has always defended the Palestinian cause, which has always been at the center of the concerns of the Kingdom, all calling for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with Al-Quds East as its capital.
According to him, Morocco has never deviated from the unanimous Arab position on the Palestinian question, based on the acceptance and support of all that is approved by the Palestinians themselves, expressing its esteem for the position expressed by Morocco alongside Palestine, in particular in "these difficult and critical circumstances in the history of the Palestinian people.
In addition to the sustained political support, he stressed the Kingdom's social and economic support for Palestine, noting that the efforts and initiatives of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, within the framework of the Al-Quds Committee.
