Morocco and Nelson Mandela have a common history, a shared and unique legacy when it come to their fight against apartheid and colonialism. Freedom has never meant less than genuine solidarity, unwavering support and substantive help granted by the Kingdom to Nelson Mandala during the most difficult of times. The words spoken by President Mandela in Morocco during his successive visits to the Kingdom reminds us of the uniqueness and beauty of that time that can’t and will never be erased. It is a testimony to us Africans of how strong, how decisive, how impactful we are when we stand together as one man, one nation, one Continent.
